Members of the Chamber of Mines have the privilege of directly participating in the formulation and review of policies that affect the mining sector and the economy as a whole. Members contribute to the development of position papers and policy suggestions submitted to the government.
Through numerous platforms such as committees, workshops, and seminars, the Chamber of Mines secretariat oversees discourse on policies impacting the mining industry. Stakeholders in the forums include the government, investors, suppliers, and mining companies.
The Chamber of Mines also provides its members with opportunities for marketing and networking with mining industry stakeholders (see events for more information).
